Jason Marshall ScD

Dr. Marshall is the Lab Director of the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI). At UMass Lowell, he earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1995, a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Studies 2001 and a Doctorate of Science in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene in 2008. At TURI, he has published several articles focusing on the work conducted at the Institute?s laboratory, including case studies of solvent-substitution work, papers on alternative cleaning products and their impact on the environment as well as surfactant studies in cleaning applications. He has also participated in several Institute-wide research publications, notably the Perchloroethylene section of the Five Chemicals Alternatives Assessment Study completed in 2006.
