Dina Belon-Sayre

Dina Belon-Sayre serves as the sustainability/energy specialist at The Peabody Orlando, where she works to achieve the highest level of sustainability in hotel operations, while maximizing guest satisfaction and comfort.  As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and chair for the Green Destination Orlando program, she works to promote sustainable operations throughout the hospitality industry.

 

In addition, Dina serves as the NEWH (The Hospitality Industry Network) International Board Vice-President of Sustainable Hospitality, as well as on the board of adjustments and appeals for the City of Titusville, Fla. and is a member of the Space Coast Tourism Council marketing committee, where she encourages the local government and tourism leaders to enact more ecologically friendly initiatives.

 

As a licensed Interior Designer, Dina a LEED Accredited Professional with an ID&C specialty with 20 years experience in interior design, project management, brand quality and resort rehabilitation. Her personal goal is bold and long-term - to help radically re-orient the hospitality industry to embrace the triple bottom line: profit, people and the planet.
